Lizard
Almost 200 species of lizards are present in Tanzania. None of them are dangerous, with the possible exception of the monitor lizard, which can give a nasty nip when it’s angry.
The agama lizard on the photo is
a male - and agamas are common around lodges all over Tanzania and thank God
for that - as they are eating a lot of insects every day.
